Bhubaneswar, Sept 30 [UDN}:Odisha Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling chaired a virtual review meeting to assess the state’s preparedness to tackle the possible cyclone and ensure the availability of emergency healthcare services.
The meeting focused on strengthening health-sector preparedness and ensuring that medical services remain uninterrupted during any adverse weather conditions. Necessary arrangements for emergency response, healthcare delivery and preparedness at the district level were reviewed.
The Health Secretary, Director of Public Health, Director of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Chief District Medical and Public Health Officers (CDM&PHOs) from all districts, and Deans and Principals of medical colleges participated in the virtual meeting.
