Nabarangpur, 23rd Aug 2025: A march was organized at the Government Upper Primary One-Board School with students to raise awareness about the importance of attending school regularly and to reduce dropouts. This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to bring out-of-school children back into the mainstream of education.
The march proceeded through Mendri Sahi, Dandasi Sahi, and main roads, spreading awareness about attending school. Students outside the school were encouraged to return, and unregistered children were enrolled in age-appropriate classes. The main aim was to ensure students continue their education at the school and take necessary steps to prevent them from dropping out again.
Students participated in the march with songs and dances, making it engaging and informative. The event saw the participation of ABEO Jagbandhu Soura, Namita Ghadei, CRCC Ramchandra Pani, Head Teacher CH Usharani, and assistant teachers Binodini Das, Phalaguni Ukal, Binodini Mahapatra, Malasinha Das, Ranjan Ganda, Rina Nayak, Sudhanshu Kiran Rath, Sunanda Sagar, and Meena Kumari Mishra. The school chairman, along with Anganwadi workers, also joined the program.
