Education Issues Discussed at Cluster-Level Meeting in Malkangiri

Malkangiri, Dec, 24:  A cluster-level education meeting program was organized at Padmagiri under Malkangiri Block at the government upper primary school, Bailapari, under the supervision of Shri Jitendra Kumar Tripathi, C.S.C. The program focused on school enrollment and education for 2025.

The event began with an inaugural ceremony, where the Padmagiri Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Shri Sunadhar Madakami, District Council Member Kuni Bhumia, Ward Member Mahendra Madakami, and Malkangiri Block Chairperson Smt. Gouri Padiami performed a traditional ritual of lighting incense and lamps before Lord Jagannath to officially commence the program.

During the event, 57 children from the Panchayat who were identified as dropouts or never-enrolled in the C.S. survey were invited. Out of these, 37 students were enrolled in various schools according to their age group. The students and their parents were invited to the education meeting, where they were given awareness messages about education and informed about the facilities and opportunities provided by the schools.
Additionally, the program included demonstrations by FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy) corners, SI & S corners, and school learning legacies, showcasing the teaching and learning activities. The students of Bailapari Upper Primary School also performed educational awareness dances and skits as part of the program.

Teachers, including head teachers and other staff from various schools of the Panchayat, actively participated and assisted in organizing the program. At the end of the meeting, the head teacher Shri Archan Halba expressed gratitude to all participants and formally concluded the session.
