Bhubaneswar, March 21: The Odisha government has issued an orange alert for 9 districts due to expected heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours. Affected areas include Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Debagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, Bargarh, Sonepur, Boudh, and Jajpur.
Additionally, three other districts are on orange alert for intense rainfall, while 11 districts are under a yellow alert for potential strong winds and rain. The Water Resources Department has advised residents to stay cautious of flooding and waterlogging. Local authorities are monitoring the situation and providing updates.
