Kotpad, Nov 29: Senior lawyer Narsingh Pattnayak of the undivided Koraput district passed away due to age-related causes at the age of 86. Born in Kotpad, he completed his legal studies and practiced law in Jaipur. His son, Manoj Pattnayak, is currently serving as a government lawyer in Jaipur.
To pay tribute to the late Pattnayak, the Kotpad Lawyers’ Association organized a condolence meeting. Key attendees included President Mani Prasad Pattnayak, former President Pankaj Kumar Patra, close associate Jitendranath Mahapatra, Editor Mukteshwar Nayak, Shankar Panda, Ajit Patra, Sangram Jena, Chinmaya Shadanghi, Gupta Behera, Durga Sahu, Pradeep Bakshi, Ghan Vishoi, Lingaraj Nayak, Bidyutalata Muduli, and Nimeshwari Nayak.
During the meeting, attendees offered wreaths to the photo of the late Pattnayak and paid their deep respects while remembering his contributions and legacy.
