Nabarangpur Hosts District-Level PM SHRI Festival

Nabarangpur, Jan, 22:  Under the aegis of the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, the district-level PM SHRI Festival was successfully organised in Nabarangpur district. The Minister for School & Mass Education and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Development, Shri Nityananda Gond, attended the programme as the chief guest, while MLA Gouri Shankar Majhi participated as an honoured guest.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Shri Gond stated that the primary objective of PM SHRI schools is the holistic development of students. As part of the programme, several thematic initiatives and exhibitions were organised, including the Aspirational Fair, Aspirational Student Council, Jijnasa (curiosity-based learning), Kaushali (skill development), Kridangana (sports activities), Sahitya Srujani (literary creativity), Dokan Jatra, Green India, Eco Club, teaching-learning materials for foundational literacy and numeracy, as well as displays on Developed India and Vision Odisha.

The Minister highlighted that PM SHRI schools are an important component of the National Education Policy, aimed at building a developed India and shaping responsible and enlightened citizens. He further remarked that nation-building begins with individual development, and that quality education plays a vital role in achieving this goal.

Inaugurated by Minister Nityananda Gond. Students from 24 PM SHRI schools of the district actively participated in the fair and presented their innovative ideas and learning outcomes.
