Bhubaneswar, Feb, 3:The “National Excellence Awards 2026 in association with Atmanirbhar Bharat” program was organized by AICTE and Summit India. The event was held at a private hotel in Bhubaneswar, where distinguished individuals and institutions from various fields contributing to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) were honored.
Speaker Surama Padhy attended the event as the Chief Guest and stated that a favorable environment exists in the country for building an Atmanirbhar Bharat. She called upon everyone to contribute by utilizing advanced knowledge and skills along with government support and encouragement.
Summit India President Shyam Jaju, former Union Minister and International President of Summit India Vijay Sampla, Vice President of Summit India and retired Justice Lokpal Singh, and General Secretary Professor Mahesh Verma highlighted the significant contributions of notable personalities from various sectors. They elaborated on their roles in making the state and the nation self-reliant.
The speakers also informed attendees about government initiatives aimed at making India self-reliant and developed by 2047. They urged everyone to come forward to help transform the country into a leading global economy.
The program witnessed the participation of policymakers, academicians, industrialists, and social workers, who discussed national development, innovation, and self-reliance in line with the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision. Individuals and organizations demonstrating exceptional work, strong leadership, and dedication in social, economic, and technological development were honored with the “National Excellence Awards 2026.”
