Bhubaneswar, March 3: The state government will offer preparatory pilot training to 50 tribal students, mostly women, to prepare them for cadet pilot courses. A professional agency will be hired to shortlist 50 students from 300 candidates for an eight-week program in Bhubaneswar.
The training will cover English proficiency, aviation knowledge, aptitude tests, and flight simulator practice. After the program, the students will be selected by airlines like Air India and IndiGo for further technical training to become professional pilots.
