Bhubaneswar,2nd Aug 2025: All schools across the state have been instructed to ensure the distribution of high-quality school uniforms to students. Any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated. Concerned Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and MSME units involved in this task may face blacklisting and can also be excluded from future uniform distribution assignments.
To enforce this, all District Collectors have been directed to strictly monitor and ensure the distribution of quality uniforms in every school.
In this context, Ananya Das, State Project Director of Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA), has written a letter to all District Collectors.
The letter emphasizes that the District Education Officers (DEOs), Block Education Officers (BEOs), Cluster Resource Centre Coordinators (CRCCs), and Head Teachers must closely supervise the ongoing uniform distribution, which is being implemented through School Management Committees (SMCs), Self-Help Groups (SHGs), or MSME units.
