Chhatrapur, Nov 26: Students from New Age Euro School, along with local residents and tourists, had a rare opportunity to explore the INS Kuthar at Gopalpur Port in Ganjam district on Monday. The event aimed to raise awareness about coastal security and the Indian Navy’s maritime operations.

Visitors were given an inside look at the Khukri-class guided missile corvette, currently part of the Eastern Naval Command. Naval officers demonstrated the ship’s capabilities, offering an exciting and educational experience, especially for the students who were thrilled to learn about the Navy’s defense skills up close.

The INS Kuthar, built at the Mazagon Dock in Mumbai, was open to the public for two days, following the completion of the national coastal defense exercise ‘Sea Vigil-24’. This initiative allowed the community to connect with India’s naval forces and gain a deeper understanding of the country’s maritime security efforts.
