Koraput Joins Nationwide Drive for a Drug-Free India

Koraput,18th Aug 2025:  At Semiliguda College, the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (Drug-Free India Campaign) was observed. The program was presided over by the Principal, Dr. Jhansi Singh. More than 1,100 students, along with all teachers, non-teaching staff, and former Principal Neelanchal Acharya, participated in the event.

All participants together pledged to make Koraput district free from intoxicants.

The program was coordinated by Dr. Ramesh Kumar, Program Officer of the National Service Scheme (NSS).

Guides Rangers Malik and Snigdha Pattnayak, and Scouts Rover Leaders Niranjan Podh and Ratnamani Kahnar, along with all volunteers from their units, actively led the event.

Senior faculty members including Debaraj Nayak, Harekrushna Sahu, Dr. Geeta Pattnayak, Ronali Nayak, Alekh Panda, Premananda Raut, Haraprasad Pati, Pinky Goyal, Binod Lenka, Vinay Panda, Digeswari Sikha, and Sumitra Giri joined hands to successfully organize the pledge ceremony.
