Papadahandi,26th Aug 2025: The Papadahandi Maa Sarbajanin Durga Puja Committee, Bus Stand area, conducted the Bhoomi Puja and Shubha Khunti Sthapan (foundation pole installation) today on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, ahead of the upcoming Durga Puja on October 2.
Priest Purnachandra Nayak performed the rituals early in the morning during the sacred hours. The program was held under the leadership of Committee President B. Jaganmohan Rao, with the participation of all committee members.
Prominent attendees included Shankar Bishoi, Swadhan Pattanayak, Dilip Samant, Tinku Jain, N. Santosh Rao, Gangadhar Nayak, B. Seemadri Rao, B. Santosh Rao, V. Srinivas Rao, Rajkishore Rao, Trinath Bishoi, Tarini Kashyap, Manoj Muduli, Rintu Nayak, Chandu, Silu, Rinku, Pitabas, Raju, Manmohan, Devendra, Siba, Alekh, Man, Silu Lenka, Sonu, Bhuvani, Shankar, Sundarlal, Dayanidhi, San Bishoi, along with several other committee members.
