Debagarh, 9th Sept 2025: The National Eye Donation Fortnight was observed in the conference hall of the New Super Specialty Hospital in the district.
The event was inaugurated by the Chief District Medical and Public Health Officer, Dr. Dhanurjaya Mahar, who attended as the chief guest.
The District Public Health Officer, along with the chief ophthalmologist, also addressed the gathering and shared their views on the importance of eye donation.
Present on the stage were departmental District Program Coordinator Sushanta Sutar and NPCB Director Mukesh Bhoi, along with Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, and other health department staff from various regions.
