Nabarangpur: 10th Sept 2025: On International Literacy Day, a grand ceremony was held at the Government New High School in Dabugaon Block, Nabarangpur district. On this occasion, students from the involved school carried banners and marched through the market, chanting slogans in support of literacy, and then returned to the school in a peaceful procession.
The rally was attended by the school’s Headmaster, Sanoj Naj Kumar Mahapatra, Sports Teacher Hemant Kumar Samal, and other teaching staff. Group Development Center Coordinators, along with Additional Group Education Officer Bhag Bhagaban Majhi, Regional Development Center Coordinator Hemendra Nath Behera, and other coordinators also cooperated in organizing the event.
The rally’s theme was “Send education – the country will progress. Dabugaon sends a message – all people will be literate, and many will be educated. Sadness will disappear.”
Through such literacy awareness campaigns, the students spread awareness among the general public.
