Authorities Prohibit Use of DJs in Durga Puja Immersion for Safety and Order

Bhubaneswar, 11th Sept 2025: This year, DJs, laser lights, and firecrackers have been prohibited during the Durga Puja immersion. The immersion of the goddess will be allowed only with traditional music. Laser lights will not be allowed during the immersion procession. A strict ban has also been imposed on bursting firecrackers during the event. This decision was taken during a meeting held at the Police Seva Bhavan.
