Jeypore,12th Sept 2025: Koraput MLA Raghuram Ram Machha expressed strong dissatisfaction with the employees of the Baipariguda LAMPS (Large Area Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society) over widespread mismanagement.
During the agricultural season, there has been a shortage of fertilizers, and farmers are not receiving the required supply on time. The MLA stated that officials are ignoring the needs of the farmers, and many are facing severe inconvenience.
Due to lack of accurate farmer data being submitted to the government, the farmers are being neglected. Farmers are desperately waiting like thirsty birds for fertilizer, but without timely supply, they are uncertain how to proceed with their farming.
Moreover, groundnut seeds and paddy seeds with subsidies are also not being provided through LAMPS. Farmers are being forced to visit LAMPS repeatedly, yet their demands remain unmet.
In response to the situation, the MLA expressed his discontent and warned both the Managing Director and staff of the Baipariguda LAMPS, urging immediate corrective action.
