Kotpad,12th Sept 2025: A New Year meeting of the Congress team was held at Kalyan Mandap in Kotpad, Koraput district. The meeting was convened at the invitation of Munna Khan, and a worker’s conference took place.
During the meeting, discussions were held on issues such as the daily rise in prices, violence against women, farmer suicides, and other matters. Participants expressed faith in Rahul Gandhi’s leadership and called for Congress members to unite and strengthen the party.
Given the current situation, it was decided in the meeting that the state Congress president, Bhakta Charan Das, should work to consolidate the state Congress and avoid any internal divisions.
Present at today’s meeting were Congress candidate Anamu Dian, former block Congress president Manohar Bishoi, former town president and senior Congress leader Jitendra Nath Mahapatra, Santosh Mishra, Moni Prasad Pattnaik, regional president Shankar Rao, Sodoranga Gram Panchayat’s Naib Sarpanch, committee members, and senior Congress leaders from Sodoranga Panchayat. Each gave their respective speeches.
