Kotpad, 22nd Sept 2025: One person has died due to a lightning strike. The deceased has been identified as Dhana Nayak from Guniaguda village under Batasana Panchayat of Kotpad block. According to reports, he had gone to a nearby forest for some work when the lightning strike occurred, leading to his death.
