Purushottampur, 17th Nov 2025: At the Block-Level Fisheries and Animal Resources Fair–2025 organized in Purushottampur Block, the event was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister of Fisheries and Animal Resources Development, Shri Gokulananda Mallik. Hon’ble Asika MP Smt. Anita Subhadarsini and Hon’ble MLA Shri Pratap Nayak attended as distinguished guests.
During the fair, work orders were distributed to beneficiaries of the Chief Minister’s Kamadhenu Scheme. This fair is regarded as a strong platform for self-reliance, skill enhancement, and economic empowerment of fishermen and livestock rearers.
