Jeypore :Nov 27: On the occasion of Shaheed Laxman Nayak Jayanti, a blood donation camp was organized by the Junior Red Cross at the Government Higher Secondary School, Ekamba, Jayapur Block, Koraput district. During the camp, 20 units of blood were collected.
Teachers of Ekamba School, first-time donors, couple donors, and other voluntary blood donors participated in the camp, extending a helping hand to save lives. The camp was chaired by the school’s Headmaster, Mr. B. Nalin Kumar, with support from Junior Red Cross advisor Mr. Manoj J. Kumar Mishra, who guided the session and coordinated the event.
The chief guests included the retired Headmistress of Ekamba Higher Secondary School, Dr. Jyotsna Mishra, and honored blood donation volunteer Mr. Pramod Raul from Jayapur. The event also saw participation from local villagers, parents, Junior Red Cross members, the blood bank team, teachers, and staff including Umarani Sahu, Rajalakshmi Priya Samantaray, Prasanna Kumar Panigrahi, Brindabati Khora, and Shubhankar Dash, who all actively contributed to the camp.
