Nabarangpur, Nov 27: The Ayushman Arogya Mandir located at Vendia under Malgaon Panchayat in Chandahandi Block, Nabarangpur district, has achieved the top position in the district for providing patients with high-quality healthcare services.
On Tuesday, the Ayushman team at Vendia was assessed under the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) set by the central government to ensure nationwide quality standards. During the evaluation, the team inspected cleanliness, waste management, and patient care, awarding a 95% score for delivering high-quality healthcare services. For this achievement, the Mandir was awarded a certificate, making it the first in the district to receive this recognition.
Earlier, the state team had visited for assessment, and now the central team conducted an evaluation and presented the certificate under NQAS.
The central team included health department officer Raka Govil. The local Chandahandi medical team present included Dr. Manish Purohit, Dr. Sachchidanand Nahak, BPM Manas Kumar Rath, PHIO Pradeep Kumar Pati, BEM K. Anusha, STS Harikrishna Panigrahi, MTS Pradeep Bishoi, BDM Rudra Prasad Kolthua, CHO Namita Khamari, ANM Pramila Nayak, along with all ASHA workers.
