Nayagarh, Dec, 09: Regarding the establishment of a medical college in Nayagarh,
Nayagarh MLA Dr. Arun Kumar Sahoo raised the demand in the State Assembly.
The Speaker himself repeatedly called the Health Minister to his chamber and urged him to set up the medical college at Chandapur. Responding to a question from Khandaapada MLA Dusmant Swain, Mukesh Mahaling gave such a reply, which led to heated arguments in the House.
As public dissatisfaction began to grow, the MLA said, “Since yesterday, people have not even allowed me to sit peacefully.”
