Nabarangpur Agricultural Machinery Fair Draws to a Close

Nabarangpur, Jan, 21: The Regional Agricultural Machinery Fair for the year 2025–26 concluded today at Mandei Ground, Nabarangpur.
The closing ceremony was attended as chief guests by Nabarangpur MLA Gaurishankar Majhi, District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain, Additional District Collector (Revenue) Biswajit Barman, and Sub-Collector Prakash Kumar Mishra.
Chief District Agriculture Officer Sudhiranjan Behera inaugurated the valedictory function with a welcome address.
During the fair, advance booking of agricultural machinery worth a total of Rs 4.50 crore was made. Farmers received Rs97 lakh as government subsidy on these purchases.
On this occasion, 10 successful farmers, 10 agriculture officers, and all cultural program participants were felicitated on the stage by the Hon’ble MLA and the District Collector.
At the end, District Agriculture Officer Anil Kumar Praharaj delivered the vote of thanks and formally concluded the Regional Agricultural Machinery Fair.
