Kotpad, Feb, 6: The annual celebration of the Kotpad Senior Citizens’ Forum was held at Kenduguda in Kotpad block.
Dr. Anadi Sahu, Gopinath Bishoi, Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, and Radhanath Pattnaik attended the event as guests. President Ashok Pattnaik presented the annual report of the association.
The forum aims to create awareness among people about education, health, environment, political thought, and their rights. Emphasizing environmental protection, the President stated that the association undertakes tree plantation drives every year and gives special attention to the protection and care of planted trees.
On this occasion, the guests were felicitated. Actor Prakash Chandra Mohanty conducted the program, while Secretary Gauri Pattnaik presented the organizational report. Treasurer Abhimanyu Mallik delivered the vote of thanks. The event concluded with a magic show performed by Balaji Nayak and Muralidhar Patra.
