Road Safety Awareness Drive Ends Successfully in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur, Feb, 6:The National Road Safety Month program was concluded at the premises of the Regional Transport Office (RTO), Nabarangpur.

Nabarangpur विधायक Gaurishankar Majhi attended as the chief guest. District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain, Additional Superintendent of Police Aditya Sen, Vice-President of Nikhil Utkal Lawyers’ Association Nrusingha Tripathy, Government Advocate Kishori Pattnaik, UPHC Officer Dr. Priyaranjan Nanda, and LIC Nabarangpur Branch Manager Tulsiram Majhi were present as distinguished guests.

The meeting was conducted by Jitendra Kumar Bhoi, Regional Transport Officer and Convenor of the District Road Safety Committee.

On this occasion, winners of the drawing and slogan competitions organized as part of the Road Safety Month were awarded prizes by the guests.

Financial assistance was provided to Til Bhatra, Minu Harijan, Duryodhan, Akash Samarth, and Gangadhar Patra for rescuing road accident victims and helping them reach hospitals for treatment.

Members of the District Road Safety Committee, including Road Safety Officer Uttam Raut, former Superintending Engineer Kshiradhar Kandhapani, District Information and Public Relations Officer Manoj Behera, Traffic Sub-Inspector Abinash Bal, members of the Drivers’ Association and Bus Association, vehicle drivers, students and teachers of RCD School, and media representatives were present at the event.
