Kusumita Government Girls’ High School Celebrates Annual Day

Keonjhar, Feb, 7: The annual function of Kusumita Government Girls’ High School under Keonjhar Sadar Block was held successfully.

Sadar BDO Binod Chandra Panda attended the programme as the Chief Guest. Sunaram Singh, Special Officer of the District Welfare Office, presided over the function. Among the distinguished guests were Sanjay Kumar Dhal, District Education Inspector; Jayanta Kumar Samanta Singhar, Additional District Welfare Officer; Sarat Kumar Mallik, Welfare Extension Officer; Gopinath Ram, senior social worker; Ganeshwar Munda, Sarpanch of Daradapal Gram Panchayat; Manasa Prasad Hembrom, member of the School

Management and Development Committee (SMDC); and Sanjay Kumar Munda, member of the School Management Committee (SMC). The keynote speaker was educationist Pandit Rangadhar Behera, retired teacher of D.N. High School, Keonjhar.

Others present included Assistant Lady Teacher Dwitikrishna Sahu, Bibhagiri Mahanta, Chintamani Patra, Shatabdi Di, Chinmayee Behera, Swagatika Sahu, Ananya Raut, Aniruddha Mahanta, Ghumanu Sekhar Padhi, Matron Sasmita Raut, Urmila Dehuri, staff members Jagabandhu Sahu and Rajpal Hembrom, along with a group of nine women CCA members, whose cooperation ensured the smooth conduct of the annual function.
In his address, keynote speaker Shri Behera highlighted the mindset required for building ideal students. The Chief Guest and other dignitaries distributed prizes to meritorious students.

Headmaster Ashok Kumar Jena presented the annual report and elaborated on the roles of teachers and parents in shaping well-rounded and disciplined students. District Education Inspector Sanjay Kumar Dhal discussed in detail the mindset of present-day students compared to former students. He particularly emphasized the importance of proper conduct and respectful behavior of students towards elders and teachers.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by teacher Chintamani Patra.
