Jharsuguda, Feb, 13:To transform Anganwadi centers into highly modern knowledge and skill hubs, five smart Anganwadi centers have been inaugurated in Jharsuguda district through a joint initiative by the State Bank of India (SBI) and the Best Social Organization.
The aim is to upgrade these Anganwadi centers to smart centers similar to modern schools. As part of this initiative, SBI provided various facilities to centers across different blocks of Jharsuguda district, including Tangarpali, Arda, Ampada, Paikpada, Da, and Dhubenbud, such as play equipment, smart TVs, AquaGuard water purifiers, books, and learning materials.
The inauguration program was attended by District Child and Women Welfare Officer Smt. Jayanti Gadatia, along with various CDPOs, POs, Anganwadi Supervisors, and the Regional Branch Manager of SBI, Pradeep Kumar Lugun.
The effort by SBI and the Best Social Organization received high praise from the guests and the public, who also encouraged transforming more Anganwadi centers into smart centers in the future. The event was managed and conducted by Sushri Shravani Ray and Poonam Nayak.
