Korukonda, Feb, 18: At Korukonda Block’s Dudameta Gram Panchayat, a joint public grievance hearing camp was organized under the direction of District Collector Somesh Kumar Upadhyay. The camp was chaired by Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Somanath Pradhan.
The camp took place in Malkangiri district, where a total of 69 complaints were heard. Out of these, 29 were individual complaints and 40 were related to village-level issues.
Special service camps were set up on-site to deliver benefits under various government schemes. New labour cards were issued to beneficiaries and existing cards were renewed. Registrations for new beneficiaries under the Social Security Pension Scheme were also completed. A health camp was also organized to provide medical services.
Among those present at the camp were Superintendent of Police Vinod Patil, Forest Officer Sai Kiran, Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer Dasharath Sarabu, Sub-Collector Duryodhan Bhoi, along with other district-level officers, the BDO, and the Tehsildar.
