Malkangiri:Feb, 21: A joint public grievance hearing camp was organized at Dudameta Gram Panchayat under Korukonda Block of Malkangiri district as per the direction of District Collector Somesh Kumar Upadhyay. The camp was chaired by Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Somanath Pradhan.
A total of 69 complaints were heard during the camp, including 29 individual grievances and 40 related to village-level issues. Special service counters were set up to provide benefits under various government schemes.
Beneficiaries were issued new labour cards, and several existing cards were renewed. New registrations were also carried out under social security pension schemes. A health camp was organized alongside the program to provide medical services to the people.
Among those present were Superintendent of Police Vinod Patil, Divisional Forest Officer Sai Kiran, Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer Dasarath Sarabu, Sub-Collector Duryodhan Bhoi, along with other district-level officers, departmental officials, and the Tahsildar. The Block Development Officer and other administrative staff also attended the camp.
