Three-Day Exposure Visit Takes Bargarh Team to Seed Center in Kotpad

Kotpad, Feb, 23:   A team of 16 progressive farmers and officials from Bargarh district visited the “Maa Bhagabati Sugarcane Seed Center” in the Kotpad area of Koraput district as part of a three-day educational tour.
During the visit, they gained knowledge about modern methods of sugarcane cultivation, seed cane production, seed treatment processes, nursery management, and the preparation of high-quality jaggery.
The programme was conducted under the “Sugarcane Development Mission, 2025–26.”
