2.5 Lakh Families Benefit as Government Hands Over Pucca Homes

Bhubaneswar,  Feb, 27:  The government has distributed more than 2.5 lakh pucca (permanent) houses within a year.
Written reply by the Panchayati Raj Minister in the State Legislative Assembly.
During 2024–25, pucca houses have been sanctioned for 2.81 lakh families.
Land has been provided to 306 landless families.
Under the Antyodaya Gruha Yojana, 1.58 lakh families have so far received pucca houses.
Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 28.07 lakh families have received pucca houses.
As per the Awas Plus survey, 37.89 lakh families are eligible to receive pucca houses.
