Boost to Education Sector as ₹1.73 Crore Approved for 12 Institutions

Bhubaneswar, Feb, 28:  Under the “Ama Gaurav Ama College” scheme, the Higher Education Department has sanctioned ₹1.73 crore for the development of one university and 11 colleges in the state.

The funds have been approved for the development of Ravenshaw University and the following institutions:

Agalpur Panchayat Samiti (Degree) College, Bolangir district
Bijepur (Degree) College, Bargarh district
Salepur Autonomous College, Cuttack district
Biren Mitra Memorial Women’s (Degree) College, Cuttack district
Rasguda Panchayat Degree College, Deogarh district
Hindol (Degree) College, Dhenkanal district
Mahima Degree College, Jharsuguda district
Belaguntha Science Degree College, Ganjam district
Naktideul Degree College, Sambalpur district
Government Autonomous College, Kandhamal district
Yashoda Bishnu College, Sundargarh district

The sanctioned amount will be utilized for the development of infrastructure and academic projects in these institutions. The funds will support overall institutional development, including construction and improvement of libraries, laboratories, sports facilities, academic complexes, provision of Wi-Fi facilities, installation of CCTV cameras, and other essential upgrades.
