Kandhamal March, 9: Samir Kumar Behera has taken charge as the new Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of Tikabali Police Station.
Earlier, Behera was serving at Kotagarh Police Station. The previous Officer-in-Charge, Pragya Ritambhara Kar, has reportedly been transferred to Phulbani Town Police Station.
After assuming charge, the new OIC stated that special emphasis will be placed on night patrolling in different parts of the Tikabali area. He added that efforts will be made to control the increasing problems such as theft, robbery, illegal ganja trade, rape incidents, liquor dens, and street crimes, and to ensure better policing services for the people of the Tikabali region in Kandhamal district. 🚓
