Big Update for LPG Users: Oil Marketing Companies Including Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum Roll Out New Consumer-Friendly Measures

Delhi, Mar, 24:  The Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has issued a clarification regarding e-KYC for LPG consumers.
The e-KYC requirement is only for unauthorized LPG users.
It is not mandatory for all LPG consumers to complete e-KYC.
LPG consumers who have not yet completed their e-KYC should do so.
If a consumer is not a beneficiary of the PMUY scheme and has already completed e-KYC earlier, there is no need to do it again.
The Ministry has also stated that e-KYC can be completed from home.
