Kerosene Distribution to Expand to Petrol Pumps, Aiming for Better Accessibility for Consumers

Bhubaneswar, April 06:  In a major decision, the Central Government has allowed kerosene to be sold at petrol pumps.
Relaxation in the rules for kerosene sales by the Centre
Permission granted to sell kerosene at petrol pumps for 60 days
Additional supply of kerosene to 21 more states and Union Territories
People will be able to get kerosene from petrol pumps along with ration shops
Step taken to increase availability of kerosene as an alternative fuel
This move aims to improve access to kerosene and provide relief to people by expanding its availability beyond the public distribution system.
