Malkangiri Collector Directs Officials to Expedite Ongoing Development Works

Malkangiri, April 13:  A high-level review meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Collector Prathamesh Arvind Rajshirkhe in Malkangiri to accelerate the district’s development process.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the progress of various ongoing projects under the Project Monitoring Unit. Special emphasis was given to sectors such as transportation, industry, and irrigation.
The Collector reviewed the current status of railway projects and advised officials to take necessary steps for their early completion. Discussions were also held on promoting industrialization in the district, including the proposed cement factory, and the progress of under-construction high-level bridges.
In addition, the progress of the Govindpalli integrated irrigation project, expansion of mobile network connectivity, and road construction works were reviewed. The Collector directed officials to complete all projects within the stipulated timelines.
Separate deadlines have been fixed for each project. The Collector emphasized that proper coordination among different departments is essential for timely and effective completion of works.
The meeting was attended by Forest Division Officer Sai Kiran D.N., Additional District Magistrate (Revenue) Bedabar Pradhan, Sub-Collector Duryodhan, and other senior officials from various departments, who presented reports on their respective projects.
