Preparations Underway for Panchayat Polls as State Government Takes Initiative

Bhubaneswar, April 16:  The state government has begun preparations for the upcoming Panchayat elections.
The Panchayati Raj Department has issued a letter to all District Collectors regarding seat reservation.
Instructions have been given to implement reservation for the posts of Ward Members, Sarpanch, and Samiti Members.
