Pana distribution ceremony held by Khodra community in Umerkote with active participation of local residents

Umerkote ,April 17:  On the occasion of Maha Vishuba Sankranti, Hanuman Jayanti, and the Odia New Year, members of the Khodra community organized a free pana (traditional sweet drink) distribution program at the premises of Jhadeshwar Mahadev Temple.
The initiative was undertaken by the Utkal Khodra Samaj, Umerkote unit, where devotees were served pana. On this auspicious day, distributing pana is not only a tradition but also reflects the spirit of service, cooperation, brotherhood, and the rich cultural heritage of Odisha.
With active participation and cooperation from everyone, the program was successfully conducted.
Among those present were President Surendra Nayak, Secretary Tripati Mohapatra, Executive Secretary Santosh Kumar Nayak, Treasurer Prabhakar Mohapatra, Joint Secretary Ganesh Prasad Nayak, and members including Dhaba Nayak, Shiv Prasad Subuddhi, Shiv Shankar Behera, Amiya Sahu, along with youths like Sunil Nayak, Prashant Sahu, Manoj Nayak, and Kahna Nayak, who contributed to making the event a success.
