Jeypore:April 21: Former SDPO of Jeypore and 2021-batch IPS officer Partha Jagadish Kashyap has been promoted. As per a notification issued by the State Home Department, he has been appointed as the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Bhadrak district.
The transfer and promotion order (No. 12502) was issued on April 10 by the Home Department. The notification includes transfer instructions for a total of 9 police officers in the state.
Tenure & Experience
Mr. Kashyap had taken charge as SDPO of Jeypore in the first week of March 2025.
During his tenure, he gained recognition for taking strong steps against organized crime.
In the third week of February, he was transferred to the police headquarters of Koraput district.
He was replaced by IPS officer Archita Mittal as SDPO of Jeypore.
Since then, he had been serving in Koraput. Following his promotion, he will now take charge of his new role in Bhadrak district.
Partha Jagadish Kashyap’s promotion reflects his performance in handling law and order, and he will now serve as ASP in Bhadrak with greater responsibilities.
