Major Achievement for Papadahandi as Block Ranks 2nd and Chandrapur Panchayat Tops State-Level Performance

Papadahandi , April. 29:  At the state-level celebration of National Panchayati Raj Day held in Balangir, Papadahandi Block of Nabarangpur district secured 2nd position for its excellent performance under MGNREGA, while Chandrapur Panchayat of the same block achieved 1st position in the state.
The awards were presented in the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Panchayati Raj Minister Rabinarayan Naik, Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling, and senior officials.
Representatives including Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Hemalata Majhi, BDO Kapildev Sahu, Chandrapur Sarpanch Maa Majhi, and PEO Khageswar Nial received the award, which included a citation, memento, and a cash prize of ₹7 lakh.
The achievement has brought a wave of खुशी and pride among the local residents of the area.
