World Earth Day Marked in G. Udayagiri by SWAK with Focus on Environmental Conservation and Community Participation

G. Udayagiri, May 02: Social Workers Association of Kandhamal (SWAK) celebrated World Earth Day with enthusiasm and awareness activities.
Forest Range Officer Manikeshwari Pattnaik attended the event as the chief guest. Among the other guests were Forester Prashanti Kumar Sahu, senior educationist Golak Bihari Pattnaik, SWAK advisor Samir Kumar Padhi, Media Club President Arun Kumar Sadangi, school in-charge headmistress Sudharani Patra, Media Club Secretary Chinmaya Kumar Sethi, SWAK treasurer Samanu Sekhar Nayak, Secretary Hrushikesh Pradhan, and Meenakshi Pradhan, among others.
The speakers highlighted the theme “Our Power, Our Planet” and emphasized that protecting the environment is essential for safeguarding the Earth.
The program was conducted by SWAK President Aman Chandra Nayak, while Sasmita Mallik delivered the vote of thanks.
