Devotees Turn Out in Large Numbers as Maa Narayani Arrives at Yatra Ground with a Grand and Colorful Procession

Phulbani, May 02:: On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Maa Narayani was ceremoniously brought to the yatra ground on Monday night in a grand procession accompanied by music, fireworks, and various cultural performances.
The event witnessed the presence of MP Sukanta Kumar Panigrahi, Phulbani MLA Uma Charan Mallick, along with the District Collector, Superintendent of Police, Additional District Collector, SDPO, Sub-Collector, Municipality Chairperson, and several other dignitaries.
Under the leadership of Yatra Committee President Kabul Senapati, Secretary Sanjit Patra, Vice-President Sujit Behera, Finance Secretary Kamal Kumar Behera, Cultural Secretary Ashok Mohanty, and other members, thousands of devotees participated in the peaceful and well-organized procession, escorting Maa Narayani to the yatra ground.
Earlier in the morning, the deities including Maa Narayani’s sisters—Brahmani Devi, Barala Devi, Byaghra Devi, Gram Devi, and Maa Kali—were also ceremonially invited and brought in a procession to the venue.
From the following day, Maa Narayani will visit different localities (Sahi Parikrama) to bless devotees. The yatra is scheduled to continue for nearly a month, concluding on May 20.
