Youth Power in Malkangiri Drives Unique Social Initiative Under the Motto “Service is the Greatest Duty”

Malkangiri:May 04:   In a commendable social initiative, members of the MKG Youth Team carried out a noble activity by distributing food to stray cows and dogs across different parts of the town.
The youth group, comprising around 450 members, has come together through a WhatsApp group to actively participate in such service-oriented work. Every week, members contribute a small amount from their own pockets, which is then used for various social causes.
As part of this effort, the team gathered and fed more than 200 stray animals, including cows and dogs, with food items like flattened rice (chuda), bananas, and milk.
The group has expressed its commitment to expand such initiatives in the future—not only for animals but also to support poor, helpless, and underprivileged people. Their goal is to take up more humanitarian activities and extend help wherever needed.
This collective effort by the youth has been widely appreciated by the public, highlighting the spirit of compassion and community service.
