Khordha: In a move aimed at strengthening industrial development and ensuring optimal use of industrial infrastructure, the Divisional Head, MSME-II of the Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation of Odisha (IDCO), along with a team of officials, visited the Chatabar Industrial Estate in Khordha district to review the land utilisation status of allotted industrial plots.
The visit focused on assessing the progress of industrial units, monitoring the effective use of allocated land, and identifying opportunities to further enhance industrial activity within the estate. Officials reviewed the status of various plots and interacted with stakeholders regarding ongoing and proposed industrial projects.
Chatabar Industrial Estate and the adjoining MSME Park have emerged as important hubs for micro, small, and medium enterprises in Odisha. The industrial ecosystem has been playing a crucial role in promoting entrepreneurship, attracting investments, and generating employment opportunities in the region.
IDCO officials reiterated their commitment to ensuring efficient land utilisation and facilitating the growth of industrial units. The review is expected to support the state’s broader objective of fostering a vibrant MSME sector and accelerating industrial development.
With continued infrastructure development and policy support, Chatabar Industrial Estate is expected to further strengthen Odisha’s industrial landscape while contributing to economic growth and job creation across the state.
