Bhubaneswar:June 13: Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena participated in the Mahendra Mela, the historic Sahi Snana, and the Navakundiya Mahayajna. On this occasion, the Minister stated that Mahendragiri, the sacred Parashurama Kshetra of Odisha, is a confluence of culture, tradition, and spirituality.
The religious event was also attended by Member of Parliament Anita Subhadarshini and MLA Krushna Chandra Nayak, who sought the blessings of the deity.
The Minister said that the most emotional and memorable moment of the festival was receiving the holy blessings of the revered Jagadguru Shankaracharya Maharaj. He prayed for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Odisha and the entire world.
Sharing photographs on social media platform X, the Minister wrote that during the sacred Mahendra Mela held at Mahendragiri, he had the privilege of welcoming and receiving the blessings of Mahamandaleshwar Manmohan Das Ji Maharaj.
He added that the Maharaj’s contribution toward the promotion of Sanatan Dharma, the awakening of spiritual consciousness, and the welfare of humanity is unparalleled. His inspiring teachings and blessings guide people toward the path of righteousness, service, and human values.
On this occasion, Harihar Das Maharaj, Ramesh Sahu, and Parashuram Majhi were also present.
