Bhubaneswar,June 20: {UDN}: Indian archers Dhiraj and Kumkum scripted history by winning the gold medal in the recurve mixed team event, defeating the Olympic champion South Korean pair.

In the final, the Indian duo overcame South Korea’s Olympic champions Kim Je-deok and Oh Ye-jin with a score of 5–1 (37–36, 37–36, 39–39), securing a historic gold medal for India.

This marks India’s second victory over South Korea in just two months, highlighting the remarkable progress and growing strength of Indian archery on the international stage.
