Koraput: June 26 {UDN}: The Odisha Tourism Department has initiated a major development plan for Deomali, the highest mountain peak in Odisha and one of the state’s most popular tourist destinations. The project aims to enhance tourism infrastructure while promoting the overall economic development of tribal communities residing in the region.
The department has earmarked approximately ₹39.95 crore for the project. The Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) will implement the initiative and has invited tenders to execute the work in three phases. The tenders are scheduled to be opened on the 29th of this month.
