Koraput, June 30 {UDN}: A district-level Screening Committee meeting on fisheries development schemes was held under the chairmanship of the District Collector of Koraput. The meeting reviewed various proposals submitted under different fisheries welfare and development programmes, assessed their eligibility, and discussed measures to ensure their timely implementation.
Officials emphasized promoting sustainable fish farming, improving the livelihoods of fish farmers, and enhancing fish production across the district through effective planning and coordinated execution of government schemes.
