The revival of monsoon activity is expected to bring widespread rainfall to several districts, providing relief from the recent dry spell and benefiting agricultural operations. However, the forecast also raises the possibility of waterlogging in urban areas and localized flooding in low-lying regions.
The weather department has advised residents, particularly those in vulnerable areas, to remain alert and follow official advisories. Local authorities have been asked to stay prepared to deal with any rain-related contingencies during the period of enhanced monsoon activity.
