Sandha Goroda Village Witnesses Grand Consecration of Maa Mangala Temple, a Sacred Shrine Built Through Community Participation and Collective Dedication

Balanga, July 3 {UDN}:  The consecration ceremony of the newly built temple of Maa Mangala in Sandha Goroda village under Balanga police station was successfully completed. The temple has been constructed through the collective efforts of the villagers themselves.

It is widely believed in the local area that worshipping Maa Mangala with devotion and offering heartfelt prayers fulfills all wishes and desires.

On the occasion of the temple consecration, the rituals such as Brahmin invocation, sanctification rites, and installation ceremonies were performed in accordance with Vedic traditions under the guidance of priest Ayodhyanath Dash and his associates.

Prominent villagers including Lingaraj Swain, Kalandi Charan Swain, Purnachandra Nanda, Ramachandra Ghadei, Narahari Swain, Braja Kishore Swain, along with all other villagers, actively participated and supported the event.

The programme also included puja rituals, cow worship (go-pujan), Brahmin feeding, homa (sacred fire ritual), and yajna as part of the scheduled religious activities.
